An Indian company has chosen to increase staff hiring despite the continuous layoffs in the global IT industry. For the next two years, HCLTech intends to hire 1,000 people in Romania. According to a report by PTI, the business would increase its operations in Romania and offer graduates hired through collaborations with top universities in the country a third of the new positions.
In order to service clients worldwide, HCLTech has been working in Romania for five years and currently employs about 1,000 employees there. The business will expand its offices in Iasi and Bucharest to give local talent additional possibilities to pursue professions in technology.
Commenting on the occasion, Iulian Paduraru, HCLTech’s country lead for Romania, said: “We are investing in creating opportunities for local talent in Romania to pursue careers in technology.
