Singh’s credentials are impressive, with multiple certifications including AWS Cloud Certified Practitioner, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, CBCP, CEH, ISO27001, ISO20000 IE, and ITIL v3. Holding a post-graduate degree in Computer Science, he has been recognized with five Top 100 CIOs & CISOs awards. Notably, Singh holds the distinction of being the first student to present a cybersecurity research paper at the prestigious RSA Security Conference and has presented a total of seven research papers at various international conferences. He is an active member of professional bodies like IDG and ISACA and is a sought-after speaker at CIO/CISO forums.
With a remarkable track record, Singh has successfully delivered assignments in cybersecurity, payments security, PCI DSS, SSAE16, ISO27001, ISO20000, BS25999, ITSM, ISMS, COBIT, NIST Cyber Security Framework, secure architecture design and solution implementation, IT security and risk management, IT audit, advisory and assurance, and business process and controls improvement across multiple countries including Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, India, UAE, UK, and the USA.
Singh’s outstanding contributions to the field of cybersecurity have earned him several accolades, including the “Top 100 CIO Award” for multiple years from IDG Media USA and the “Top 100 CISO Award” from CISO Platform. As the newly appointed CISO at LIC, Singh will bring his expertise in cloud security, cyber security, DevSecOps, applications security, vulnerability and patch management, technology risk management, and internal and external audit management. He will oversee the implementation and management of information security systems, develop security strategies and policies, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and drive business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.
