Besides providing new monetization opportunities to CSPs, the IT solutions company can also bring industry-curated 5G (private cellular) use cases
A global IT solutions company, UST, has acquired a US-headquartered telecom engineering firm, MobileComm, for an undisclosed value. Expected to strengthen UST’s telecommunications practice, this acquisition will bring over 1,300 employees.
Offering capabilities in wireless engineering, MobileComm was founded in 2002 and operates across the US, India, and Canada.
Providing offerings for Communications Service Provider (CSP) customers, the acquisition will enable UST to merge its experience in cloud and devsecops with MobileComm’s wireless engineering capabilities, the former said. Besides providing new monetization opportunities to CSPs, the IT solutions company can also bring industry-curated 5G (private cellular) use cases.
