Rajashree joins a whole new Tech Mahindra executive team, led by CEO Mohit Joshi, who joined the business after leaving Infosys.
Rajashree R., a former chief marketing officer of Tata Consultancy Services, has been appointed by Tech Mahindra as its chief growth officer for strategic verticals in the Americas, the company stated on Monday.
Rajashree spent nearly 20 years working with TCS, where she gained substantial experience in marketing and retail. July 2023 saw the announcement of her retirement from TCS, shortly after the dramatic departure of former CEO Rajesh Gopinathan in March 2023.
Rajashree joins a whole new Tech Mahindra executive team, led by CEO Mohit Joshi, who joined the business after leaving Infosys. With the retirement of CP Gurnani in December, Joshi assumed leadership.
During Tech Mahindra’s second-quarter earnings call, Joshi revealed an internal reorganization that will emphasize a vertical delivery focus as opposed to the company’s prior geography-focused structure. Americas Communication, Americas Technology Media, Americas Diversified, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), APJ (Asia Pacific and Japan), and India are the six focused business areas that the new CEO has established. The new lineup took effect on January 1.
Richard Lobo, a former Infosys chief human resource officer who joined Tech Mahindra in January as its chief people officer, is one of the company’s other notable recent hires. In August 2023, Atul Soneja, the chief operations officer, joined the business from CitiusTech.
Former global chief people officer and head of marketing, Harshvendra Soin, relocated to Australia and was promoted to president of APJ telecom and enterprise business. Former chief delivery officer of the telecom, media, and communications group, Dhanashree Bhat, departed the firm to take a position as chief operating officer at Persistent Systems. The leader of the communications division, Manish Vyas, has also departed.
