Chambers will now be responsible for overseeing and implementing Montage International’s technology strategy.
Peter Chambers has been appointed as the executive vice president and chief information officer by Montage International. Chambers is a seasoned technology and hospitality professional with over thirty years of experience. He has demonstrated success in leading and developing teams internationally, as well as overseeing corporate office operations and the expanding portfolios of Montage Hotels & Resorts and Pendry Hotels & Resorts. As such, Chambers will now be responsible for overseeing and implementing Montage International’s technology strategy.
Before joining Montage International, Chambers held the position of global president of Deployed Technologies (DTech), where he oversaw the company’s capabilities and delivered sustainable growth while also offering cutting-edge technology strategies and solutions to clients in the hospitality sector. In addition, he served as CEO of Location Logic, a software development business that created custom database-driven solutions to meet customer demands.
Before that, Chambers was the chief information officer for SBE in Miami, where he was in charge of more than 130 hospitality businesses worldwide’ technology, security, and compliance. In addition, he held the positions of corporate director of IT for hospitality at Vail Resorts in Broomfield, Colorado, and global head of IT at Viceroy Hotel Group in Los Angeles, where he oversaw worldwide technology in guiding strategy and organizing hotel expansions and renovations. Additionally, Chambers oversaw IT teams and managers at the corporate offices of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Atlanta. He began his career with ITT Sheraton/Starwood Hotels & Resorts as a regional manager of information systems. He later held positions as president of Olio Solutions, a Delray Beach, Florida-based company that provides technology services for hospitality IT professionals, and vice president, hospitality, for Combest Inc. in Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale.
London-born Chambers holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Surrey in marketing and modern languages, and he speaks Spanish, Danish, and French with ease.
