Shyam Bhethanabotla has been appointed as the Chief Technology Officer of Cygnett Hotels & Resorts.
Mr. Bhethanabotla has over 28 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale systems across a variety of sectors, including technology, e-commerce, and hospitality, both domestically and internationally. He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Florida.
Mr. Bhethanabotla had executive leadership positions at prestigious multinational corporations such as Reliance, Lucent, Verizon, and HCL before joining Cygnett. His expertise in AI/ML systems, cloud computing, and enterprise architecture has been crucial in boosting productivity and creativity.
As CTO, Shyam will play a key role in advancing Cygnett’s IT infrastructure growth and leading the adoption of cutting-edge platforms that are in line with the organization’s strategic goals. Furthermore, he plays a crucial role on the board of the Cygnett Group, making a substantial contribution to the technological progress of the organization.
Mr. Bhethanabotla has ties to Tech Platforms, which is well known for its cutting-edge technology solutions that cover a wide range of industries. In addition, he actively participates in charitable activities, giving special attention to projects that improve sustainable practices, healthcare, and education.

Establishing operational rules and service standards is an area in which Mr. Prasad has extensive experience. Strong commercial acumen, a track record of success in facilities management, and skillful cost control highlight his capacity to improve top- and bottom-line results.
Rajeev Sharma has been appointed General Manager of Operations & Pre-Opening Support by Cygnett Hotels & Resorts.
Mr. Sharma brings an abundance of experience to the firm, having worked in the hospitality industry for over twenty years, both in India and abroad. In his new role, he will oversee the operational aspects and support the pre-launch phases of new properties, ensuring that every project satisfies Cygnett’s exacting operational competency and quality standards.
