Thrasio, an Amazon aggregator, files for bankruptcy and names a new CEO

Thrasio, an Amazon aggregator, declared on Tuesday that Stephanie Fox has taken over as CEO and that the business has been able to exit Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The Amazon aggregator Thrasio announced on Tuesday that Stephanie Fox has been named CEO and the company has emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

After the business completes its global restructure, Fox, who was previously the chief operating officer, will take over for Greg Greeley.

Thrasio, an Amazon vendor acquisition company, announced that it will now prioritize profitability.

In order to lower its debt, the company entered into a restructuring arrangement with some of its lenders and filed for bankruptcy protection at the end of February.

At the time, Thrasio claimed to have acquired $90 million in funding commitments from current owners.
