Vishal Pawar has been promoted to Senior Vice President for Global Sales and Supply Chain by tire manufacturer CEAT. This significant change in leadership represents a new phase in CEAT’s development.
After serving as the Vice President overseeing replacement sales for four years, Saurav Mukherjee has resigned. Vishal Pawar will take over for him. Mukherjee has played a pivotal role in molding the organization’s worldwide sales and supply chain tactics.
Vishal Pawar joins his new role with a plethora of experience. He started his career as a management trainee at TAFE Limited in Chennai. He graduated with a degree in engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune, and in management from SIBM. Prior to moving into sales as the Zonal Sales Head for the South, he joined CEAT in 2005 as Category Head. Pawar relocated to Garware Technical Fibers in 2019 and then rejoined CEAT, where he rose to the position of Vice President of the biggest aftermarket sales division in India. He is the best person to oversee CEAT’s worldwide supply chain and sales initiatives due to his wealth of knowledge and track record of success.
