Tushar Vikram has been appointed as the country head and CEO of Mashreq, a prominent financial institution in the Middle East and North Africa region. This announcement was made on Monday. According to a release, Vikram will oversee the bank’s activities in India and be responsible for the nation’s growth and strategic direction. With thirty years of expertise, Vikram is a seasoned commercial banker. Tushar managed Project Finance, Equity, Debt Capital Markets, and M&A as the Group Head of Investment Banking at HDFC Bank before joining Mashreq. Prior to this, Vikram worked for Citibank for 27 years in a variety of capacities, including credit processes and risk management, digitization, investment and structured finance, and commercial banking.
