Walter So has been appointed as Hewlett-Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) new managing director in the Philippines, the IT giant said yesterday. Walter has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of industries, including finance, cloud computing, corporate software, security solutions, and more. He is qualified to serve as the team leader for HPE because of his extensive industry expertise and strong leadership abilities. He previously held the position of country lead for Vietnam and the Philippines at Broadcom Software. Prior to that, he worked with VMware as the Philippines’ country manager for more than four years, which helped him develop his leadership abilities.
Walter additionally spent 11 years honing his technical, client, and enterprise abilities at IBM, where he also first handled leadership in his roles as general manager and country manager for global technology services. He has also held positions in the Ramcar Group of Companies, HSBC, and Nikon Philippines, among other companies.
