The appointment of Priti Singh as Chief People Officer was announced by Universal Sompo General Insurance Company on Thursday.
According to a statement, Singh has more than 20 years of expertise in strategic leadership, talent management, transformation, diversity and inclusion, assimilation of culture, and leadership development.
Singh oversaw HR operations throughout South Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa during her seven years as Head of People & Capability at Mastercard before joining Universal Sompo. She was formerly employed by Sun Life Financial as the Head of Human Resources for Asia Service Centers and by AXA XL as the Head of HR.
Singh has demonstrated her leadership qualities and strategic vision by serving as a director on the boards of Mastercard Technology, Sun Life India, and XL India, in addition to her operational duties.
