Skyhigh Security Appoints Stephen Tait as Chief Technology Officer to Lead Technology Vision and Drive Strategic Innovation

San Jose, Calif. (BUSINESS WIRE), August 15, 2024: Skyhigh Security today announced the appointment of Stephen Tait as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Tait, an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in building, transforming, and leading highly scaled and distributed engineering teams in the technology and cybersecurity industry, will be responsible for driving the company’s technological vision, strategy, and architecture. He will oversee the execution of Skyhigh Security’s market-leading Security Service Edge (SSE) product roadmap and the management and scaling of its cloud infrastructure to address the evolving security needs of its more than 3,000 customers globally, thereby ensuring that it remains at the forefront of the industry.

Tait was most recently CTO at Snow Software and brings to Skyhigh Security a proven track record of leadership and innovation. There, he was instrumental in the strategy, leadership, scaleup, and transformation of the product engineering group, helping pivot the business from an on-premises software provider to a SaaS company. Prior to Snow Software, he was vice president of engineering at Calyx and held senior executive engineering positions at industry-leading firms like BAE Systems, Capita, Cybit, and Telematix Ltd. He holds a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in geography and a master’s degree in geographical information systems from the University of Leicester.
