CFOtech, August 2024: ANS, a leading digital transformation company, has announced the promotion of Kyle Hill to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This appointment is expected to bolster the firm’s efforts to advance its artificial intelligence (AI) and digitalization strategies.

The company recently received the accolade of Microsoft’s UK Services Partner of the Year 2024, an achievement that aligns with its focus on AI readiness. Kyle Hill, who joined ANS in June 2023 as Technical Services Delivery Director, has now been entrusted with accelerating this mission. His new role will officially commence on 1 October 2024.

Kyle Hill brings over a decade of experience in technology advisory services and has significantly impacted ANS’s operations since his arrival. He holds the title of Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Business Applications and is also a Microsoft Regional Director. These credentials underline his expertise and close collaboration with Microsoft, which will be instrumental in his new position.

During his brief tenure at ANS, Hill has spearheaded the development of tech talent within the company and has worked to dismantle barriers between different solution areas. This has enabled ANS to deliver more complex, multi-technology offerings to its clients. His focus has been on helping customers unlock innovative AI solutions, which is a core part of the company’s strategy.

Commenting on Hill’s promotion, Richard Thompson, CEO of ANS, stated, “Kyle has already been invaluable to the team during his time at ANS, from delivering innovative solutions for our clients to playing a pivotal role in the development and progress of his team. I’ve no doubt that he’ll embrace this new position to drive forward our mission of creating a tech movement that everyone wants to be a part of. His passion for the value that AI can create for our customers will be instrumental in helping businesses of all sizes realize their ambitions through accessible tech.”

Reflecting on his new role, Kyle Hill said, “With AI at the forefront of everyone’s minds, now is the time for all businesses to be getting AI ready and unlocking its value. I’m eager to further the transformative impact ANS is already having by streamlining technology and processes to meet customers’ needs. I’ll be facilitating the introduction of the innovative work processes that AI brings customers, making ANS a leader in making future visions a reality today and kickstarting a revolution in business operations.”

ANS continues to be a major player in the tech industry, particularly noted for its public and private cloud, security, business applications, low-code, and data services. The company has a strong commitment to community, diversity, and inclusion. It operates out of Manchester and runs five IL3-accredited data centers. Furthermore, ANS partners with major tech firms such as AWS, VMware, Citrix, HPE, Dell, Commvault, and Cisco.

Hill’s promotion is anticipated to further reinforce ANS’s technological capabilities, especially in the realm of AI. The company aims to empower local talent and contribute to the growth of the Northwest tech ecosystem, a vision aligned with Hill’s focus on making world-class digital services accessible to all businesses, regardless of their size.
