Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla noted on Thursday the importance of keeping India at the forefront of contemporary sectors like biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and others since these will be critical to the fourth industrial revolution, in which the nation will play a significant role.
He added that educational institutions determine the direction and future of the country.
Birla asserts that teachers play a pivotal role not only in delivering education but also in molding the beliefs, abilities, and disposition of a generation.
Speaking to students at a college affiliated with Delhi University on this Teachers Day, he emphasized the importance of teachers and their invaluable contribution to society.
Regarding the function of educators in constructing a nation, Birla noted that in the Indian knowledge tradition, a guru has the highest position.
He pointed out that in the traditions of ancient India, the guru is not only a teacher but also the creator of a person’s character, personality, community, and country.
The speaker of the Lok Sabha stated that the importance of teachers has increased in the quickly evolving world of today. He went on to say that instructors have a duty to prepare the youth for the opportunities and difficulties of the future. Our pupils will only be able to lead and learn how to adjust to the changes occurring under the direction of their professors.
Birla was cited as saying in an official release that our students will not only learn to adapt themselves to the changes taking place, but will also lead this revolution of change under the guidance of the teachers.
According to him, India’s current development can be attributed to the country’s longstanding emphasis on education. He continued, saying that Indian youth are currently leaders in practically every field.
