Arun Kumar has been appointed as the global head of analytics and artificial intelligence at Accenture Song, a tech-powered creative organization.
Kumar, who previously worked as an independent consultant, is joining Accenture Song and will be under the direction of Baiju Shah, the company’s global chief strategy officer.
Kumar was the chief data and marketing technology officer at Interpublic Group (IPG) before starting his own consulting business.
As per a media report, his responsibilities included expanding the company’s targeted advertising buying strategy and providing data and technology solutions on a global scale. Additionally, he contributed to IPG’s significant purchases.
Mark Green, who presently serves as president of Accenture Song’s operations in Australia and New Zealand and was a co-founder and CEO of the Australian creative agency The Monkeys, was chosen the worldwide CEO of Droga5. He will move to New York City and take up the position in October 2024.
