On the second day of his tour to South Korea and Japan, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma of Jaipur, Rajasthan, visited Seoul Technical High School on Tuesday and observed student-led programs that foster creativity and innovation.
CM Sharma met Jobok Lee, the principal of the school, as well as other staff members, instructors, and students during his visit.
Additionally, CM Sharma went to the school’s Advanced Technical Center, where he spoke with students and saw firsthand the cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies being taught in the classrooms.
Speaking at the event, Sharma stated that emphasizing skill development creates opportunities for professional advancement and aids in job placement.
This time, the chief minister of Rajasthan said that there was no lack of chances in the state and that the school administration should think about establishing a similar institution there.
“Padharo Mhare Desh,” he stated, inviting the school administrators and students to visit Rajasthan in order to further establish ties between them. You are invited to our state.”
Leading a high-level delegation, CM Sharma is in Seoul for his first overseas investors’ meeting in advance of the upcoming “Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit,” scheduled to be held in December.
He told investors on Monday that “the state is constantly improving processes and policies to provide ease of doing business.”
CM Sharma urged innovators, entrepreneurs, and members of the leading business associations in South Korea to conduct business in the state. “The Government of Rajasthan is not looking at South Korea as a source of investment only but also aspires to build a strong and long-term partnership across sectors with the business leaders of South Korea.
“As part of our investor-friendly initiatives, my government will soon launch a slew of new policies that will enhance the business-friendly climate in the state, including the New Industrial Policy, Export Promotion Policy, MSME Policy, and One District, One Product Policy.”
The CM also had one-on-one talks with high-ranking representatives of a number of significant South Korean enterprises and associations from important industries, including chemicals, startups, infrastructure, and tourism.
Meetings with top representatives from POSCO International, SG Corporation (a producer of asphalt concrete), GS E&C (a company involved in battery storage and renewable energy), Hanwha Solution (a chemical company), and the Jeonbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center (JCCEI), a startup incubator, are among the activities listed above.
