IT outage hits Alaska Airlines, flights grounded in Seattle
On Monday, Alaska Airlines announced that it had suffered an IT failure that severely disrupted its business, resulting in delayed flights.

Alaska Airlines said in a statement that it had grounded flights in Seattle and that, despite the problem’s resolution, there might still be some effects on business as usual.

“This was not a cyber-attack or any kind of unauthorized activity. It was a certificate issue that impacted multiple systems,” it added.
