Sai Giridhar has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD and CEO) ‘designate’, by Axis Finance Limited (AFL), subject to regulatory clearance.
Bipin Saraf, the current MD and CEO of Axis Finance, will return to Axis Bank to oversee Bharat Banking, according to a release.
Giridhar has 28 years of banking expertise and has held executive positions at several top private sector banks.
Amitabh Chaudhry, Chairperson, Axis Finance, said, “I am confident that with Sai’s leadership, the team is well-positioned to take Axis Finance to newer heights as they enhance their efforts to strengthen the market positioning of Axis Finance in the NBFC space.”
