Fortinet has added two new Generative AI products to its portfolio in an effort to streamline security operations

Fortinet unveiled two new integrations with FortiAI, an AI-powered security assistant that leverages GenAI to direct, streamline, and automate security analyst tasks, marking the growth of generative AI (GenAI) capabilities throughout its product portfolio.

“Our commitment to AI innovation is reflected in our expansion of generative AI, which now enhances seven different products across our portfolio,” said John Maddison, Chief Marketing Officer at Fortinet. “By integrating FortiAI in such a broad range of solutions, we’re equipping our customers with powerful, adaptive tools that transform how they manage and respond to cyberthreats. As cyber risks continue to grow, we’ll continue to empower our customers with solutions that streamline security processes, improve decision-making, and bolster resilience against evolving threats.”

New FortiAI Integrations

FortiAI for FortiNDR Cloud is made to make it simple for threat hunters to view observations and detections related to their inquiries. Security analysts may readily comprehend the FortiNDR Cloud coverage capabilities against specific vulnerabilities, attacker methods and approaches, and new and emerging threats by querying FortiAI. This improves analyst performance and expedites the search process, giving threat hunters a better understanding of their capabilities against attackers.

FortiAI for Lacework FortiCNAPP emphasizes providing repair and corrective action assistance to SOC teams in order to help them comprehend warnings more rapidly. Teams can quickly gain step-by-step instructions on how to investigate and respond to issues with syntactically correct code, comprehend the risk, including how an attacker could compromise the system, and understand the reason behind the alerts that are generated by using natural language queries.

FortiAI Across Fortinet’s Portfolio

This extension, which comes after earlier GenAI integrations, strengthens Fortinet’s dedication to AI innovation in cybersecurity:

FortiAI for FortiAnalyser to offer automated reaction, prioritization, and real-time threat analysis

FortiAI for FortiManager can more quickly create scripts for network configuration, troubleshoot, and automate fixing vulnerabilities and network problems

FortiAI for FortiSIEM to offer suggestions and contextual intelligence for looking into and handling security warnings

FortiAI for FortiSOAR to direct and maximize remediation efforts, threat investigations, and playbook generation automation

FortiAI for FortiDLP to compile and put into context information related to high-risk activity that has been noticed.
