NEW DELHI , January, 2025 /PRNewswire/: Ampace, the global leader in lithium-ion battery solutions, is proud to announce the official launch of our new E30P cell at the 2025 Bharat Battery Show, held on January 19-21, a significant step in advancing green mobility solutions in India. On January 19, Ampace officially introduced the E30P with cutting-edge battery technology to India’s rapidly growing electric two-wheeler market.
Revolutionizing India’s EV market
As the adoption of electric two-wheelers grows in India, the need for batteries that balance performance, long lifecycle and price is becoming increasingly important. With Ampace’s proprietary BP (Boost Power) system, the E30P addresses these challenges, enhancing energy density, safety, power and reliability using advanced materials and innovative design.
Key features of the E30P:
Versatile design: This standardized 35205 size (35 mm x 205 mm) ensures compatibility with motorcycles, scooters and maxi-scooters.
High Performance: It supports various battery solutions, such as 1.5 kWh batteries for daily commute, 3 kWh batteries for delivery services, and high-capacity, high-power batteries for long-range, high-speed electric motorcycles.
Higher Capacity: It provides up to 600% capacity improvement over conventional 21700 cells by optimizing battery pack design. As a result, this reduces pack design and manufacturing costs, and improves product reliability.
Fast Charging: It supports both daily fast charging and emergency fast charging scenarios. Fast charging up to 95% in 47 minutes daily and up to 50% in 15 minutes in emergency.
Exceptional Safety: Its rigorous testing and BP technology ensure thermal stability and durability under extreme conditions.
Rajeev Prasad , Sales Director, India Market, Ampace , said, “E30P is the epitome of stability, capability and power – that is the core of E30P. It is not just a name; it is the promise of reliable, high-performance energy storage that enables customers to achieve more. We are excited to introduce E30P in India, a solution tailored to meet the requirements of electric two-wheelers in the country.”
Empowering Green Mobility in India
Going forward, Ampace is committed to driving the growth of India’s green mobility sector. As the popularity of electric two-wheelers continues to grow, the E30P is an important step towards improving the performance, lower costs and sustainability of electric vehicles in India.
Ampace’s entry into the Indian market with the E30P battery cell is expected to play a key role in shaping the future of electric two-wheelers in India, providing powerful, reliable and safe solutions that meet the diverse needs of Indian consumers and businesses.
