Bangalore, India, January 2025: Nitasha Narula has been appointed as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Strategy & Talent and Legal & Company Secretary functions at Standard Chartered. In her new role, Nitasha will lead strategic initiatives to strengthen the bank’s information and cybersecurity frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and operational excellence.
Nitasha has been with Standard Chartered for over six years, during which she served as Information Security Risk Manager, leading initiatives to safeguard the bank’s critical information assets and mitigate third-party risks. She played a key role in implementing robust ICS risk management strategies and enhancing data leakage protection measures across the bank.
Prior to her tenure at Standard Chartered, Nitasha held transformational roles at DXC Technology as a Transformation Consultant, where she led finance-related automation and ERP implementation projects. Earlier, at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, she
spearheaded global transition and process improvement initiatives, driving significant efficiency gains in the P2P domain.
Nitasha’s career began at Hewlett-Packard as a Process Associate, and she progressed through various leadership roles, including P2P Process Lead and Accounts Payable Team Lead, showcasing her expertise in process optimization and team management.
