Applications for the AI and Industry 5.0 cohorts have been opened by the venture capital firm Accel under Atoms 3.0, aimed at supporting early-stage startups in these fields in India, Southeast Asia, and the UAE.
From experienced operators and founders, Accel Atoms, an accelerator programme for pre-seed and seed-stage startups, offers funding, personalised mentorship, and industry-specific guidance. Atoms, since its August 2021 launch, has invested in 24 companies across two cohorts, and these firms have collectively raised over $160 million in funding.
The AI cohort and the Industry 5.0 cohort, both supported by Accel investors, operators, and mentors, will be led by Prayank Swaroop and spearheaded by Barath Shankar Subramanian, respectively.
Workshops, mentorship, networking, up to $500,000 in investment, access to the firm’s mentorship network, community events with other AI and Industry 5.0 startups, meet-ups with potential customers, mixers with investors and Accel portfolio companies, perks from partners like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and webinars and AMA sessions with industry experts will be offered by the programme.
