AerCap Holdings, the world’s largest aircraft lessor, was attacked by malware, including ransomware, on January 17.

AerCap Holdings, the world’s largest airplane lessor, was targeted by a cybersecurity issue involving ransomware on January 17, according to a business document released on Monday.

“We have full control of all of our IT systems, and, to date, we have suffered no financial loss related to this incident,” the business said in a statement.

The lessor is still analyzing the extent to which its data may have been compromised.
