In order to grow its business and meet the growing need for agritech solutions in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, Malaysian agritech and nanotech startup Qarbotech has raised US$1.5 million in funding.
Better Bite Ventures, ID Capital, EQT Foundation, 500 Global, and Epic Angels Limited all supported to the fundraising round.
One of the agritech firm’s products, QarboGrow, uses carbon quantum dots to enhance photosynthesis in plants, potentially increasing food output.
