Ex-Amazon, Microsoft Leader Alex Mallet appointed by Primer As CTO

Alex Mallet has been named as Primer’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Primer is the unifying infrastructure for global payments. This calculated hire is indicative of Primer’s dedication to building innovative and reliable infrastructure for its clientele across the globe.

Mallet has worked in the IT industry for more than 25 years. He has held executive positions at Microsoft, Amazon, and most recently, Forto, a logistics company based in Berlin, where he served as EVP of Engineering. His expertise covers cloud computing, e-commerce platforms, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and internal infrastructure services. He has a wealth of experience with large-scale distributed systems.

Based in Berlin, Mallet will be essential in advancing technology and assisting the entirely remote business that is supported by international investors like Balderton, Accel, and ICONIQ as it continues to grow. Primer has declared that it is on course to attain 400% annual revenue growth in the European market, along with significant collaborations with top players in the travel, retail, and gaming domains, such as Printify, GetYourGuide, and New Looks.
