Andrew Jordan has been named chief product & technology officer (CPTO) of Travelport, a GDS and travel technology company located in the UK.
He comes from Elemental Materials Technologies, where he was in charge of the company’s innovation and cyber strategy as chief technology officer.
Prior to that, Jordan served as Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s chief product and technology officer, effectively spearheading the firm’s transition from a $27 billion travel management organization to a digital-first platform enterprise.
Jordan has over 25 years of experience and has held top technical leadership positions at Thomson Reuters, NBCUniversal, and NEP Group.
In addition to being the CTO of Beyond Analysis, a software solutions and data science company, he was also the CIO of Dunnhumby, Tesco’s former data science branch.
According to reports, his experience makes him “uniquely positioned” to steer Travelport’s technological strategy into the next phase.
