Rathi takes over for Ayyappan Rajagopal, who on February 22 posted on LinkedIn to announce his retirement from Cleartrip.

Anuj Rathi, who is Chief of Product at Jupiter Money at the moment, will become the CEO of Cleartrip, a travel website owned by Flipkart. Rathi is now in her second year at the massive e-commerce company.

Before taking on his position at Jupiter Money, Rathi held the position of Senior Vice President of Revenue and Growth at Swiggy and worked as a product manager at Flipkart. He had intended to depart the fintech company six months after joining, which is why he moved to Cleartrip.

Rathi takes over for Ayyappan Rajagopal, who on February 22 posted on LinkedIn to announce his retirement from Cleartrip. Rajagopal had an impressive 11-year career with Flipkart and its fashion division, Myntra, before assuming the CEO position in October 2021.

As Flipkart gets ready for a potential IPO, there has been a general executive reorganization at the company, including this change in leadership. A number of senior executives have been hired as a result of the reorganization, while others are being replaced. Sandeep Karwa was elevated to Vice President of Flipkart Advertising by Flipkart on Monday in a related announcement. Karwa, a 12-year-old employee, will now be in charge of the e-commerce behemoth’s advertising department.

Furthermore, Prabh Simran Singh and Sankalp Mehrotra, two important executives, are presently fulfilling their notice periods. Singh joined Flipkart in August 2022 as the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Advertising, and Customer Growth and Retention. His extensive experience includes positions as Executive Vice President and Head of Subscriptions at Hotstar, as well as CEO of a digital twin technology business. Mehrotra, who joined Flipkart in 2016 as Vice President of Monetization, was formerly an Executive Director at the Singapore-based mobile advertising business Affle.
