Arch Insurance North America has made an addition to its leadership team by appointing Prabhu Venkataraman as Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Arch Insurance’s major addition to their leadership team aims to improve technology implementation and services, with an emphasis on strategy alignment, data enablement, and business empowerment.
In his new post, Venkataraman will be responsible for managing technological projects, maintaining strategic alignment, and enabling the company.
He will report directly to Prashant Nema, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Arch Capital Services LLC, and Brian First, President of Arch Insurance North America.
He joins Arch Insurance from Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, where he was Senior Vice President of Enterprise Applications and Architecture. With more than two decades of industry experience, he brings a wealth of specialized expertise to Arch Insurance, having led challenging technology transformations and large-scale deployments in numerous leadership roles across his career.
It is predicted that his experience in these jobs will contribute significantly to Arch Insurance’s ongoing business technology transformation plan.
