ASRC Federal appoints Ron Davis as VP, CISO

ASRC Federal said on LinkedIn on Tuesday that Ron Davis, a specialist in cybersecurity and information assurance, has been named as chief information security officer and vice president.

According to ASRC Federal, Davis will be in charge of the business’s information technology and cybersecurity initiatives. He will be in charge of developing and implementing strategies, managing risks, creating policies, responding to incidents, adhering to industry rules, and communicating with stakeholders.

Prior to joining ASRC Federal, Davis oversaw the information security program at HII (NYSE: HII) as the corporate CISO. He also worked in engineering, cyber operations, policy, risk management, engineering, and information security governance.

Davis previously held key positions with BAE Systems and Vencore, including that of CISO. After working for BAE since 2008, he was promoted to director of global information security program integration. He began as the company’s worldwide IT security operations manager.
