As the newest member of the Innovation and Software-Defined Vehicles board, Geoffrey Bouquot, formerly of Valeo, has been given the responsibility of leading Audi’s transition to a software-centered company.

He headed an R&D network of 20,000 engineers as well as 20 research and 40 development centers.

Among his responsibilities were putting the R&D transformation plan into action, speeding up digitalization, and increasing productivity by focusing on particular platforms. Additionally, Geoffrey Bouquot established France’s first dedicated lab for AI in driverless vehicles. Prior to joining Valeo, he served as the French Minister of Defense’s cabinet’s technical assistant for industrial matters.
