Amit Sharma has been named vice president of human resources for Bajaj Finserv’s microfinance business.
Having worked as National Manager HR Business Partner at Bajaj Finserv from March 2016 to March 2018, Sharma is currently in his second stint with the company.
“I am delighted to share that I have taken on the role of Head HR for the Microfinance Business at Bajaj Finance. Returning for my second innings at this dynamic organization feels like coming back to what I love most,” Sharma shared in a LinkedIn post.
Sharma was Vice President of HR at Jio before joining Bajaj Finserv. He was previously employed with Rajasthan Patrika, ING Vysya Life Insurance, Bharti Infratel, Telenor India, and Bajaj Housing Finance.
In September 2005, Sharma started working at Bosch as a management trainee in HR.
He also spent more than six years (from September 1999 to September 2005) as a company commander in the Indian Army.
