The firm will give its merchants the option to upgrade from the Linux-based POS to the new BharatPe Swipe Android POS device
A new Android Point of Sale (POS) terminal, known as BharatPe Swipe Android, was launched by BharatPe on Friday. BharatPe Swipe Android offers multiple modes for digital payment acceptance, including debit and credit cards, UPI, mobile wallets, and QR codes.
Already having a network of over two lakh POS machines across 400 cities in the country, the company launched Linux-based POS devices in 2020. The firm will give its merchants the option to upgrade from the Linux-based POS to the new BharatPe Swipe Android POS device.
Additionally, with the launch of the new device, it plans to double its POS network count over the next 12 months.
