On Thursday, officials announced that Bhopal will be the first district in the state to have a “cyber desk” at each police station. Thursday marked the start of a six-day training program. Starting on December 1st of next month, cyber desks will be installed in every Bhopal city police station in an effort to prevent and raise awareness of the growing number of cybercrimes.

There is currently just one cyber police station in the city, and most of them are located far from police stations; thus, the cyber section handles accusations of cyber fraud. Candidates or victims may file complaints at the relevant police stations about fraud and cheating up to Rs 5 lakh.

Because of the early complaint, the cyber police will act right away, seize the victim’s money, and greatly improve the likelihood of a reimbursement. In the Police Commissioner’s office, Harinarayanachari Mishra, the Commissioner of Police, officially opened a six-day training program for the Urban Police Bhopal officers. The first district in the state to build and execute a cyber desk would be Bhopal city.
