We’re excited to announce that Binit Jha has been appointed Chief Data Officer (CDO) at IDBI Bank with over 22 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, and innovation. In this key role, Binit will lead the bank’s data transformation efforts, focusing on governance, data quality, and enterprise-wide data management.

Before joining IDBI Bank, Binit made significant strides at Morgan Stanley, where he served as Executive Director. There, he pioneered Centers of Excellence for Data Strategy, developed a Data as a Service framework, and streamlined complex data pipelines through automation. His career also includes impactful roles at UBS, Bank of America, and Lehman Brothers, where his leadership consistently drove innovation and operational excellence.

Binit’s responsibilities will span the development of robust data policies and standards, optimizing processes with actionable insights, and implementing next-generation technologies to replace outdated systems. He will also take the lead in creating business performance dashboards and managing vendor relationships to ensure seamless integration of cutting-edge tools.
