Brown-Forman Corporation, one of the biggest American-owned spirits companies globally and the owner of the most valuable spirit brand in the world, Jack Daniel’s, has named Gaurav Sabharwal as Managing Director, India & South Asia.
Gaurav Sabharwal has been appointed Managing Director, India & South Asia, by Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE: BFA, BFB), one of the largest American-owned spirits corporations in the world and the owner of the most valuable spirit brand in the world, Jack Daniel’s.
Gaurav has worked with the beverage and consumer goods industries for more than 20 years. His vast knowledge of the alcoholic beverage industry spans several Asian regions, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the Indian subcontinent. He worked for Pernod Ricard for more than 14 years in a variety of leadership capacities, specializing in spearheading strategic and transformative initiatives. He held business and national leadership positions in India, Singapore, and Dubai. Gaurav has had a variety of commercial leadership positions with Diageo.
In his new position, Gaurav will be in charge of Brown-Forman’s business operations in South Asia and India, two key and rapidly expanding areas. He will be located in Gurugram and report to Eveline Albarracin, VP, Managing Director, Brown-Forman ANZPI IMENA Turkiye.
