Subhakar Rudra has joined WPIL as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and has moved on from railway wagon manufacturer Titagarh. In WPIL, he will be based out of Kolkata and will be reporting to the Managing Director of the firm.
In designing, manufacturing, commissioning and servicing of pumps and pumping systems, WPIL Limited has 68 years of experience.
Rudra will be responsible for overseeing digital aspects of WPIL’s strategy and implementation and operation ensuring with business goals in his new role as the Chief Information Officer. Also, he will be leading ERP, information security & IT infra deliverables.
He also served as the Chief Information Officer in his previous stint with Titagarh for more than a year.
By working with firms like CK Birla Hospitals and Usha Martin Limited in the past, he has more than 23 years of professional experience.
He holds an MBA degree in Information Systems.
