One of India’s leading healthcare providers, Paras Healthcare has appointed Vineet Aggarwal as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Before joining Paras Healthcare, Aggarwal was serving as Head IT for SRL Diagnostics.
In his new role as CIO, Aggarwal will be leading tech innovation, strategy and development, service operations and information security.
With over 1,000 bed capacity in Gurgaon, Patna, Darbhanga, New Delhi and Panchkula under the name Paras Hospitals and Paras Bliss, the Paras Healthcare group runs a chain of multi-speciality hospitals.
At SRL Diagnostics, Aggarwal is credited with aiding in direct top line impact with an increase in overall digital sales from INR 30 lac per month to around INR 3 cr. per month (over a 3-year period) by introducing new e-Commerce platform, mobile app and process optimized and 100% automated Patient Home Service platforms. During his tenure at SRL Diagnostics he also introduced an AI algorithm for customer segmentation and further upselling using U&R campaigns leading to revenue of approx. INR 28 cr. Per annum i.e., an overall digital contribution of approx. INR 64 cr. Per annum.
Prior to SRL Diagnostics, Aggarwal headed Business Applications at Indus Towers. His over 18 years of experience also spans consulting roles at PwC and Siemens IT Solutions & Services.
