Compeer Financial, an Upper Midwest Farm Credit cooperative, has chosen Bruce Feist as chief technology officer to succeed Jerry Wiese.
Compeer Financial, a farm credit cooperative in the Upper Midwest, has named Bruce Feist as its chief technology officer.
Feist, a Woodland, Minn., resident, will take up the responsibilities of Jerry Wiese, who is retiring as CIO in April. Feist joins Compeer Financial with over 15 years of experience at Cargill, where he served as division chief information officer and in other leadership roles. His global experience in technology, data, and information, notably in the agriculture industry, prepares him well for his new post.
As CIO, Feist will oversee Compeer Financial’s business technology and digital transformation efforts, with a focus on delivering company and client value through technology-driven initiatives. He will lead digital strategies to improve Compeer’s service offerings, demonstrating the cooperative’s continued commitment to technological innovation in agriculture and rural America.
Feist has a computer information systems degree from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
