On Wednesday, DGP Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao held a crime review conference with the SPs of the Eluru Range, which includes the districts of BR Ambedkar Konaseema, Eluru, West Godavari, Krishna, and East Godavari, as well as Kakinada. He said that there will soon be cybercrime police stations in every district.

During the meeting, the DGP stated that the only cybercrime police stations now operating are in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. Upon bringing up the matter with the Chief Minister, he consented to the establishment of cybercrime police stations in every district.

Statewide, police have been implementing stringent steps to fight against cybercrimes. The police have been informed about crime investigations in each district.

The authorities have been concentrating on stopping the unlawful usage of cannabis lately. Teams called Task Forces will be established to combat ganja. He declared that in order to stop the assualt of young girls, the police will pay close attention. According to him, another top priority is the welfare of the lower-level employees.

DGP talked on local difficulties in the Eluru range, law and order, and crime management. Amnd stated the issues facing the districts had been talked about for a while. Sufficient resources must be available on site for employees to carry out their jobs well. To address the staffing deficit, more police officers will shortly be hired. He did, however, add that it will take some time.

A 100-day ganja action plan was created by the police. It is important to educate everyone, including young children, about cannabis and other substances. Every school and college in every police station area will host a public awareness event about ganja and drugs, informing students about the dangers of ganja. Additionally, all police stations will host awareness campaigns regarding the new laws.

The DGP praised the personnel who played a part in apprehending the accused within 48 hours of the little girl in Palleramudi village, Nuzvid Rural Mandal, being brutalized by a human beast. He gave the parents of the young girl a cheque for Rs. 1 lakh.

At the meeting, BR Ambedkar Konaseema SP Boddepalli Krishna Rao, Eluru SP Pratap Shiva Kishore, West Godavari SP Adnan Nayeem Asmi, East Godavari SP Narasimha Rao, Krishna District SP R Gangadhar Rao, Kakinada SP Vikrant Patel, and Eluru Range IG GVG Ashok Kumar were present.

A courtesy call was made earlier by Eluru Collector K Vetri Selvi to the visiting DGP.
