Dheeraj Sinha has been appointed by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) with effect from April 3, 2024. Anil Rao, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, has been replaced by Mr. Sinha.
For more than eight years, Mr. Dheeraj Sinha served as the group chief information officer and executive vice president at JSW. Over the course of his thirty-year career, he has worked for JSW Group, Apollo Tyres, Infovergix Technologies, UMIT Ltd., and Modi Xerox.
He spent more than 12 years as Apollo Tyres’ Group CIO and Global Supply Chain Head before joining JSW. Mr. Sinha holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, an MBA in Finance and Operations from MDI, and has completed Strategic Leadership Programs at Brown University and IMD Lausanne, Switzerland. He is also presently enrolled at Mumbai’s Narsee Monjee University to pursue a Ph.D.
