He emphasized India’s technological advancements, the transformative impact of Digital India, and the importance of skill development.
The Prime Minister emphasized how these fields are influencing India’s future thanks to the enthusiasm and creativity of its young people while addressing a group of 3,000 young leaders from all throughout the country.“The power of youth is awakening a new confidence in India. If Swami Vivekananda were with us today, he would see the immense potential of the 21st-century youth,” PM Modi remarked, setting the tone for the dialogue.
The prime minister emphasized India’s remarkable advancements in the digital and technological fields, calling them the cornerstone of a prosperous country. He called it a revolutionary milestone and said that India had implemented 5G technology at the quickest rate in the world.“With the swift deployment of 5G, we are not just improving connectivity; we are opening doors to new opportunities in education, healthcare, and governance,” he said.
Emphasising the significance of digital inclusion, PM Modi added, “The reach of broadband internet to thousands of gram panchayats is bridging the digital divide, empowering rural India, and fostering inclusive growth.”
Reflecting on the global recognition of Digital India, the Prime Minister called it “not just a technological movement, but a societal transformation.” He noted, “Digital India is enhancing efficiency and empowering millions by giving them access to services and opportunities that were once out of reach.”
PM Modi also discussed India’s leadership in space technology throughout his speech, highlighting the achievements of Chandrayaan and the planning for Gaganyaan, the country’s first human spaceflight mission. “Our scientists have shown the world what India can achieve. From landing on the moon to preparing for a space station by 2035, our ambitions are inspiring the next generation to dream big,” he said.
He emphasized that these developments strengthen India’s position as a world leader in technology and “serve as a beacon of innovation for our youth.”
The Prime Minister emphasized the growth of educational and vocational infrastructure throughout the country, making skill development a major topic of his address. “Over the past decade, we have established 23 IITs, increased IIITs from 9 to 25, and raised IIMs from 13 to 21. The number of AIIMS has tripled, and medical colleges have nearly doubled. This is the foundation for creating a skilled and capable workforce for the future,” he stated.
He further emphasised the rapid pace of development, noting, “Every week, we are establishing a new university; every day, a new ITI; and every third day, an Atal Tinkering Lab. These efforts are equipping our youth with skills that make them globally competitive.”
By highlighting programs like the Mudra credit scheme, which has issued 23 lakh billion rupees in collateral-free loans, PM Modi demonstrated the government’s dedication to empowering businesses.“Through Mudra loans, we are enabling our youth to start their ventures, contribute to the economy, and create jobs,” he said.

The Prime Minister also discussed India’s leadership in sustainability and renewable energy, emphasizing the country’s advancements in meeting its environmental targets. “We are on track to meet our Paris Agreement commitments nine years ahead of schedule, and the target of 20% ethanol blending will be achieved well before 2030,” he said.PM Modi connected these accomplishments to the larger story of technological innovation and the contribution of young people to these developments.
The Prime Minister discussed infrastructure development and gave examples of how technology is changing India’s digital and physical environments.“Our infrastructure spending has increased sixfold to over 11 lakh crore rupees. This has doubled the number of airports, brought Vande Bharat trains into service, and initiated the bullet train project,” he explained. He also highlighted the connectivity improvements, adding, “Today, roads connect over 300,000 villages, ensuring rural India benefits from modern infrastructure.”
PM Modi reaffirmed his belief that skill development, technology, and youth can help India achieve its goal of being a developed country by 2047.“The youth of India will drive the greatest transformation in our history. Their courage, innovation, and dedication will make India a global leader in technology and economic progress,” he said.
