The appointment of Phani Mitra B as the Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) has been announced by Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories. Mitra, in his new role as a CDIO, will be an integral part of the Management Council, the apex leadership team at Dr. Reddy’s.
Back in 2014, Mitra joined Dr. Reddy’s family and has since played a pivotal role in various strategic initiatives. For the company’s India and Emerging Markets businesses, he was instrumental in setting up the Analytics Centre of Excellence and leading corporate strategy and digital transformation.
Mitra is a staunch advocate of treating data as a valuable asset and is recognised for his expertise and contributions in the field. His leadership has driven multiple strategic transformation projects, and he has been at the forefront of conceptualising key initiatives. His efforts were also acknowledged in 2021 when he was featured in Analytics India Magazine’s prestigious ’50 Most Influential AI Leaders in India’ list.
