Elon Musk declared the beta version of the X TV app is already out and that it will debut soon

X is currently trying to integrate into your TV display. Users will now have access to X on their TV, much like they can with Netflix and other OTT apps. Elon Musk announced today that the Android TV beta version of the X TV app is now available. Currently available on LG, Amazon Fire TV, and Google TV devices, the beta version is likely to be released on additional devices in the future. Although the precise release date is unknown, it may arrive on various devices at various times. For the beta version, the same thing took place. Although LG received the software on August 29, Amazon indicates that it entered their realm in late July.

Now, the question is: will X be limited to social media when it comes to TV? We don’t think so, is the response. The X TV app is effectively a new over-the-top stream, based on the description and screenshots that have been uploaded to Google Play. It says, “Service X-Stream” TV is the fantastic streaming TV service that is only accessible to Internet subscribers of X-Stream Services. You are free to watch TV whenever and however you like. Set-top box rentals are not necessary! All of your favorite live local, news, sports, music, movies, and weather stations are available to watch now or later.”

Additionally, the X TV app has a number of functions, such as:

Replay TV: Never miss another episode of your favorite show! Replay TV from X-Stream Services allows you to instantly access up to 72 hours of show storage in the cloud.

Startover TV: You won’t ever miss the opening credits of a film or television program again. You have the option of choosing what to watch right from the start with the Startover TV function.

Free Cloud DVR: Save 100 hours or more of free DVR recordings. There is more storage accessible.

X TV App: How to Use It?

Regarding the beta version, in order to view the content on the application, the user needs to have an X account. The app is currently limited to Android smart TVs. Install X TV by searching for it on your smart TVs.

We still don’t know how to subscribe to the application. We believe that information about this will only be made public on launch day.

With the release of the X TV app, consumers will have yet another place to access programming. However, this does not bode well for other over-the-top services and video streaming apps, such as YouTube.
