The hotline has been able to save Rs 3.73 crores from being stolen and plundered by online thieves. Earlier in the year, Rs 3.73 crore was frozen; this year, Rs 2.71 crore was. There is a total of Rs 6.73 crore frozen. Gupta further said that steps have been taken to reimburse the victims for the sum that was frozen. Additionally, attempts are being made to simplify this procedure. Three factors contribute to hackers becoming victims.
