In this new position, Baker, who has 40 years of real estate experience—sixteen of those as a leader on First Hospitality’s executive team—will provide advice on specific capital formation deals as well as management and investor relations activities.
In April, Matt Schuster took over as First Hospitality’s CFO. Schuster held executive positions at Club Quarters Hotels for more than five years before joining First Hospitality. Most recently, he was the chief financial officer. Leading the company’s financial services division, Schuster will be instrumental in advancing long-term strategy development and implementation.
