Prior to joining GLP, Song led the global IT function of Mars Petcare as the Global Chief Information Officer
Miao Song has joined GLP Singapore as the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) and has moved on from Mars Petcare as a Global CIO after serving a stint of over three years.
GLP, which operates across Brazil, China, Europe, India, Japan, the US and Vietnam, is a leading global investment company, with businesses in logistics, real estate, infrastructure, finance and technologies. The company has over US$100 billion in assets under management in real estate and private equity.
Song will be leading the global technology function and will be responsible for all aspects of technology across GLP in her new role as the Global Chief Information Officer. She will also be overseeing the company’s global data and digital strategy.
Prior to joining GLP, Song led the global IT function of Mars Petcare as the Global Chief Information Officer. She was also a board member at Mars, Belgium, where she led the digital transformation of the company to elevate technology, digital and data capabilities.
Song has over 20 years of international experience in IT operations, implementing new-age technologies, digital projects, application support, infrastructure support, IT management and consulting. She has worked with global organisations such as Johnson & Johnson, where she held the role of CIO & VP-IT ASPAC. She has also served tenure of over 13 years at Shell in various leadership roles.
