Google Cloud announces new programs to support Indian AI startup firms

Google Cloud, which introduced a number of new initiatives at an event here on Thursday, stated that it is dedicated to enabling artificial intelligence (AI) businesses in India to propel innovation and growth.

Its ‘AI Startups Summit’ featured a number of initiatives and collaborations aimed at boosting the nation’s AI startup scene.

These initiatives assist early-stage AI entrepreneurs in developing, expanding, and acquiring clients for their Google Cloud-based solutions.

“Google is committed to empowering AI startups to drive innovation and growth. These initiatives demonstrate our dedication to providing critical support and resources to early-stage founders, helping them build and scale successful AI-powered businesses,” said Dr. Manish Gupta, Senior Director, Research, Google DeepMind.

The 12-week ‘Emerging ISV Partner Springboard’ initiative, which was recently unveiled by the tech giant, is intended to accelerate the growth of AI firms.

Through the Google for Startups Cloud Program, which will now offer $200,000 in Google Cloud credits over two years, early-stage startups will receive more assistance, allowing them the time they need to develop and expand their ideas.

Google Cloud has announced that it will provide even more assistance to AI-first firms with $350,000 in credits, acknowledging the higher computing demands of advanced AI development.

The business also revealed the debut of Startup School: GenAI, a thorough four-week immersive training program intended to enable entrepreneurs to fully utilize AI.

In an effort to revolutionize the way healthcare providers record patient care, Google Cloud also announced a partnership with DeliverHealth, a pioneer in clinical documentation.

“Together, we aim to reimagine the future of clinical documentation, enabling clinicians to focus more on patient care,” said Bikram Singh Bedi, Vice President and Country MD, Google Cloud India.

During the ‘Global Google Cloud Summit’ last month, Thomas Kurian, the CEO of Google Cloud, expressed his enthusiasm for the inventiveness and tenacity of entrepreneurs that use cloud computing and artificial intelligence to drive revolutionary growth.
