Users of smartphones including the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and the new Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be able to perform multisearch with gestures without switching apps beginning January 31, according to an Alphabet-owned firm at the Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) opens new tab Unpacked event.
Mountain View, California-based Google generates the majority of its revenue from the online search business. For the past year, it has competed with Microsoft (MSFT.O) in the field of generative artificial intelligence.
The company stated that the multisearch capability can be used with its lens camera symbol in the Google app for Android and iOS.
