One of the fastest-growing segments in its suite are crypto ETFs
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX), with the addition of crypto ETFs, which it says is the first kind in Asia, is expanding its ecosystem.
Two new crypto ETFs: CSOP Bitcoin Futures and CSOP Ether Futures were listed by the exchange today. The products track cash-settled Bitcoin futures contracts and Ether futures contracts traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, respectively.
“They provide investors with exposure to the digital asset space for the first time in Asia and reflect both our ongoing commitment to, and the market’s appetite for, the digital economy,” Wilfred Yiu, HKEX’s COO and co-head of Markets, commented on the launch of the two ETFs.
One of the fastest-growing segments in its suite are crypto ETFs, said HKEX. The exchange also announced plans to expand the diversity of its product offerings.
This year, it also supported the listings of the first metaverse ETF, carbon futures ETF, and blockchain ETF on the market.
