Nehal Shah will lead the digital channels and IT security of the bank in his role at IDBI Bank.
Nehal Shah has joined IDBI Bank as Deputy CTO. He joins the bank after spearheading Consumer Bureau IT at Transunion CIBIL for about 5 and a half years.
In digital transformation, big bank integrations, mission critical and very large product launches, Shah has extensive experience in leading large IT projects.
Nehal Shah will lead the digital channels and IT security of the bank in his role at IDBI Bank. This includes ATMs, internet banking, mobile banking, POS, UPIs, IMPS, etc. He looks forward to further strengthening the digital ecosystem and implementing highly secure processes.
Shah says, “I have strong belief in my people and am empathetic to their well-being and growth.”
Shah has worked with Transunion CIBIL as Joint Vice President prior to joining IDBI and earlier with HSBC, delivering multi-year IT programs. At Transunion, he pioneered a comprehensive release framework, the Aadhaar Data Vault, and led many mission-critical projects.
To deliver digital transformation, big bank mergers, SWIFT implementations, ATMs, and internet banking projects, he led multi-cultural teams across geographies at HSBC.
Shah is an alumnus of the UCLA Anderson School of Management and has completed his bachelors from Mumbai University and his masters from Pune University.
